CLEVELAND, May 30 — Members who register for the 70th Annual Eastern Union Meeting Association (EUMA) by June 1 will be entered into a drawing to win one of two valuable prizes.
EUMA Arrangements Co-Chair Tim DuBois reports that those who register for the convention by June 1 will be entered into a drawing for a free one-week’s stay at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio, or a free round of golf for a foursome at the resort’s golf course.
The convention runs July 6-10 at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio. Members should call (800) 729-6455 for reservations.
Activities include a trip to Cedar Point (the roller coaster capital of the world), a Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball game, a poolside barbecue, the annual golf outing, and a charter fishing trip. Other entertainment options include: water parks, wineries, the Lake Erie Islands, maritime museums and quaint lakefront towns.
Many educational opportunities are also available, including workshops for Local Chairmen, Secretary-Treasurers, Legislative Representatives and Division Presidents. There will also be informative workshops regarding safe transportation of nuclear waste, signal diagnostics, signal tapes, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Representatives from the Federal Railroad Administration and the Railroad Retirement Board will also be on hand to answer membership questions.
