CLEVELAND, February 12 — The BLET Education and Training Department announced today that its two upcoming Secretary-Treasurer Compliance Workshops in Dallas, Texas, and Jacksonville, Fla., are completely filled.
The Dallas workshop begins at 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, and will conclude at noon on Wednesday, February 27. It will take place at the American Airlines Training and Conference Center.
The Jacksonville workshop begins at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, and will conclude at noon on Wednesday, March 5. It will take place at Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront hotel.
Many changes are being implemented this year regarding the filing of LM reports, and it is important for S-Ts to receive training so their reports will be submitted correctly. The changes to the LM Report, along with information regarding the new 990-N and EFTPS, will be explained in class.
Among many other informative sessions, Secretary-Treasurers will also be shown how to use the BLET National Division’s web-based reporting system, which S-Ts use for membership reporting and tax compliance.
