On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Earlier this year, CN unveiled two commemorative locomotives in tribute to the historic anniversary. The railroad said the two locomotives represent the dual pillars of the American story: independence and innovation.
