Ballots were mailed to eligible D&H members this week and are due back to the National Division by May 27.
The BLET has reached a tentative three-year agreement with the Delaware & Hudson Railway. If ratified by the members, the TA would provide general wage increases only — there are no changes to work rules or health & welfare benefits. It would cover the period from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2027.
The BLET’s D&H membership belongs to Division 87 in Green Island, N.Y., which is a part of the CPR-D&H/PanAm (ST)-SL&A General Committee of Adjustment. Negotiations were led by General Chairman Ben Martin, Division 87 Local Chairman Ryan Crossman, and National Vice President James Logan.
Note to D&H members: Ballots were mailed last week and are due by Wednesday, May 27. Members who are eligible to vote and have not received a ratification packet by Monday, May 11, should call the National Division’s dedicated voicemail line at (216) 241-2630, ext. 222. When connected with the voicemail, please leave the following information:
- Your name, address and phone number;
- The division to which you belong;
- The railroad you work for;
- Your date of birth;
- The last four digits of your Social Security number; and
- Your email address.
All replacement ballots will be distributed by email. Any member who requires a replacement ballot must include their email address in the voicemail; otherwise, they will not be able to participate in the ratification vote.
