Preventive health care can help you find little things early, before they turn into bigger issues. That means that seeing your doctor every 12 months could help you stay healthier in the long term. Plus, there’s no cost to BLET members and their families. The National Health & Welfare Plan covers eligible preventive services at 100 percent when you see a network provider.
Covered preventive care includes screenings for colorectal cancer, cervical cancer, and breast cancer, and also an annual wellness exam. Please contact your primary care provider to help set up a preventive screening, or see this flyer (PDF) for more information.
