The Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) has announced dates and locations for a limited number of in-person Pre-Retirement Seminars to be held in September 2026. Please register as soon as possible if you are interested in attending, as these seminars tend to fill quickly. BLET officials, auxiliary members, and their spouses are welcome to attend, as well as rail employees and spouses within five years of retirement.

While most of the program focuses on various aspects of railroad retirement benefits, each seminar closes with a brief presentation on railroad unemployment and sickness benefits to help prepare union officers for sharing reliable information with their members.

- September 11: Jacksonville, Florida
- September 11: Oakland, California
- September 18: Huntington, West Virginia
- September 18: St. Louis, Missouri
- September 25: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
